Vert’Tige makes useful, understated objects, designed with high standards and responsibility. Every choice of material, every assembly, every line has a single aim: to extend the life of the object. We believe in things you keep, look after and pass on. Local production, rooted in its land, inspired by the Amazon and mindful of its impact.

Sourcing

Choose before you create

We favor responsible, durable and renewable materials: precious woods from the French Amazon rainforest, recyclable steels with controlled heat treatment, leather for our sheaths, beeswax and plant-oil finishes. We favor local resources and upcycling.

Local production

Make just enough, make it better

We make to order and in small batches, at the pace of handwork, never overproducing. No dead stock, no pieces made to be sold off: each creation meets a real need. Wood and steel offcuts are reused rather than thrown away, and everything is made on site, in French Guiana. This is how we combine high standards and responsibility: make just enough, make it better.

Built to last

Keep, care for, pass on

A Vert’Tige creation is designed to last for years and to be maintained, not replaced. Wearing parts can be reworked: nothing is designed to end up in the bin. Simply cared for, it becomes an heirloom that accompanies several generations.
